I have been "exercising" for the past eight years regularly at a well-known facility in Charleston. Annually they provide an assessment and I felt after the last twelve months of three-times-a-week workouts I should be improving. I knew that those hour-long sessions would help shed the pounds, increase my strength, and add flexibility. To my chagrin, I had neither lost any weight nor strengthen any muscle groups. As for flexibility all can say is I tore a hamstring and spent weeks in rehab.

During the same week of the above evaluation, I attended a meeting and ran into a friend that I barely recognized. When I realized my friend was a reduced version of his former self, I asked how he lost so much weight. Faster Fitness was his enthusiastic answer and the next day I was on the phone with Jeff Johnson.

Jeff patiently explained the program to me while I kept visualizing my friend and what I might look like. I did not like my initial physical statistics even though they were true. Jeff encouraged me as the two of us set realistic goals and time frames. Six o'clock the next morning I met my personal trainer, Paul, and a truly new day began.

Now six weeks later I have lost thirteen fat pounds, increased lean muscle weight, increased flexibility, and lost inches in my chest, stomach, and legs. My energy level has increased and I have a new outlook on life.

As a business coach I work with my clients helping them to focus on their strengths and identifying their weaknesses. By providing individualized attention I help them achieve their goals remembering that each person is unique. My personal trainer at Faster Fitness provides the same individualized attention, gives meaning to the physical and nutritional programs and keeps me focused on my goals. I never feel pushed but always challenged. I am learning the meaning of good form and the importance of proper eating habits. My specifically designed thirty-minute program has encouraged me to succeed and adapt a new routine into my daily life.

Working out by myself was not rewarding. My body cheated itself allowing stronger muscles to take over for the ones I should have been exercising. Repetitious exercises lasted too long resulting in little to no increase in strength or mobility. Boredom and lack of knowledge blocked the way to the results I wanted. At Faster Fitness I feel challenged, energized, and informed. I am learning to obtain short-term goals and enjoy seeing and feeling the results and this motivates me to continue with the program. There is no boredom with my personal trainer and my understanding of physical wellbeing is increasing. Faster Fitness is a life style change for me. '
